With the built environment responsible for 37% of global carbon emissions, the materials and products we choose truly matter. To support climate action, Australian Architects Declare created Product Aware, an online database that compiles supplier information on materials and products and provides greater access to transparent sustainability data across the industry.

Product Aware helps architects and designers compare products based on consistent information about human health, climate and ecosystem impact, social responsibility, waste minimisation and circularity.

To support more informed, values-led decision-making, Australian Architects Declare has released an updated Sustainable Materials Guide, developed as a companion to the Product Aware database.
